Bitter Harvest by Kim Knox
m/m, sci-fi, novella
I’ve read this one and I really liked it. The characters are great together and the constant push and pull of sexual tension is hot.
It’s 2050, and humans are an endangered species. Lieutenant Robert Sutton has survived the collapse of civilization by luck, his wits, and a chance mutation that makes him immune to the nano-virus that has wiped out millions. Now, his compound of survivors is surrounded by the infected, who are driven by the need to spread the contagion through sex. It is only a matter of time before they attack. So when Sutton is assigned to interrogate a prisoner who claims to have overcome the infection, he immediately suspects a trap…
Nicholas Rider may have survived the virus, but he’s a changed man, ruled by his desires. But his need for Sutton is different. Rider craves an end to his overwhelming needs, and Sutton could be the man to do it.
Secure in his belief that he’s invulnerable, Sutton can’t understand or resist his intense attraction to his prisoner. Will Rider be his downfall–or his savior?

Omegas in Love by Annie Nicholas
I haven’t gotten the chance to read this yet, but its high on my must buy list. Annie Nicholas is a fantastic writer and I love her shifters. This one is about her sweet and slightly geeky shifters. lol gotta love it. Can’t wait to read this one.
Some things are best to forget. But what if the past won’t be forgotten?
Born in China of a pure shifter bloodline, Katrina was raised with only one purpose–to breed. Abused by her alpha, she runs away to America as soon as she can. With a new pack and her true mate, she thinks the nightmare is behind her, but when she is abducted on the streets of Chinatown, Katrina must face her past and fight for her freedom.
It took Tyler a year to earn Katrina’s love, another to build her confidence and pride, and only a moment to lose her. Broken-hearted, Tyler won’t give up his search for Katrina.
But he never trained as a warrior like the other shifters. What chance does a real estate agent have in the fight for his mate?
WARNING: Explicit shifter sex, heartbroken torment, and an unstoppable shifter in love.

Clear As Day by Babette James
I usually don’t pimp contemporary because I don’t read it that often, but this one is special. Babette is a long time writing friend and from what I’ve seen of this book, this sweet little romance is well worth a read. This is her debut novel and for those interested she’ll be signing at RT! So do NOT forget to look her up. I’m so excited for her. She’s a great writer and well worth checking out.
What’s a girl to do when her summer lover wants forever?
Haunted by dark memories of her parents’ volatile marriage, artist Kay Browning keeps her heart locked behind a free-spirit facade and contents herself with the comfortable affair she has every summer with easygoing photographer Nate Quinn.
The only trouble with her plan? This summer Nate’s come to Lake Mohave to claim the lover he can’t let go. He’s done with the endless traveling and settling for temporary homes and temporary loves. Kay’s always been more than just a vacation fling, and now he must convince this woman, who sees love as a course to certain heartbreak, to take that leap of faith and learn how safe love with the right man can be.
